    12/2/13 NASHVILLE, Tenn. – CERRITO, the bilingual artist who has achieved success Internationally with his past four single releases, is celebrating the #1 single “Hot Pepper Doll,” on the New Music Weekly chart.  “Hot Pepper Doll,” written in 1976 by legendary writer Cy Coben, features fun and notable Mexican-American words as enchiladas, tostadas, frijoles, tamales, and guacamole, all set perfect for Cerrito’s south of the border sound. “This Latin bopper comes complete with staccato horn bursts as it praises the spicy culinary skills of his betrothed.  They’ll be wed if his stomach can take the heat.     10/10/14 Nashville, TN – Reunited and feels so good!  Cerrito and international music legend Charo are back together with a new collaboration set for release in 2015.  Cerrito performed more than 200 straight SOLD OUT shows in Hawaii at Charo’s Waikiki Showroom, garnering national attention while building a loyal fan base.

    Cerrito’s career hit full throttle when international “cuchi cuchi” diva Charo, caught his show and hired him on the spot to be one of her background singers then leading to headlining her very own showroom.  His combination of Latin flare and a traditional country vibe creates a unique offering that is attracting a wide range of fans noting his diverse and distinctive music.

    “Lane was the first chica I approached about recording this song,” states Cerrito. Brody is best known for her 1984 Billboard hit, “The Yellow Rose” and for the Oscar nominated song “Over You” from the film Tender Mercies.
